Elementary school-aged children are a group vulnerable to nutritional problems due to unbalanced diets and a lack of nutritional knowledge. Low nutritional knowledge can impact children’s eating behavior and nutritional status. This community service activity aims to improve elementary school student’s knowledge and understanding of balanced nutrition through educational activities. This activity was carried out at MI Nurussalam, Mantingan District, Ngawi Regency, in commemoration of National Nutrition Day. The method used was a participatory and educational approach through three stages, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Nutrition education was provided through material delivery using PowerPoint media, interactive discussions, and the provision of pre-test and post-test questions to measure students understanding of knowledge before and after the educational activity. In addition, anthropometric measurements of body weight and height were conducted to determine students nutritional status based on child anthropometric standards. The results of the activity showed an increase in students understanding of balanced nutrition after the education was provided, as well as positive student responses and participation throughout the activity. This balanced nutrition education activity is expected to play a role in shaping healthier eating behaviors and support the improvement of the nutritional status of elementary school children.
