MENGKAJI KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN TEKNIK PROBING PROMPTING (PBL-PP)

Abstrak

Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu elemen penting yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Dalam pembelajaran, keterampilan berpikir kritis telah diterapkan dalam lingkungan belajar untuk mengatasi tantangan siswa di abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa selama proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan teknik probing prompting. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan pustaka, dengan menganalisis dan mensintesis beberapa jurnal pendidikan Fisika yang terbit pada tahun 2017-2022 yang membahas tentang keterampilan berpikir kritis, model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan teknik probing prompting dengan sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik pada jenjang SMP, SMA serta mahasiswa perguruan tinggi yang memiliki tingkat pemahaman yang berbeda. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dari 40 jurnal dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa model PBL berbantuan teknik probing prompting merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam kegitan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang merupakan salah satu dimensi dalam profil pelajar pancasila. Hal ini dikarenakan model ini menampilkan berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, melalui serangkaian pertanyaan sebagai penuntun sehingga dapat merangsang siswa untuk mencari dan menemukan solusi dari suatu permasalahan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai rekomendasi kepada para pengajar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.
