Pengaruh Kelicahan Kaki terhadap Ketepatan Pukulan Forehand Drive pada Olahraga Tenis Meja

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelicahan kaki terhadap ketepatan pukulan forehand drive pada atlet tenis meja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 30 mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Illinois Agility Test dan tes ketepatan forehand drive. Analisis menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan kelicahan kaki terhadap ketepatan pukulan forehand drive (r = 0,61; p < 0,05). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kelicahan kaki lebih baik mampu menempatkan posisi tubuh secara optimal sebelum melakukan pukulan. Selain itu, koordinasi gerak kaki yang efektif mempercepat waktu reaksi terhadap arah datangnya bola. Secara keseluruhan, performa footwork memberikan kontribusi yang kuat terhadap stabilitas dan akurasi pukulan forehand drive.
