PERSPECTIVE THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) TO COMPLETING MATHEMATICAL ASSIGNMENTS: EXPLORING STUDENTS' EXPERIENCES

Abstrak

Kecerdasan tiruan berdampak pada semua lini kehidupan dengan pemanfaatan yang masih memerlukan pengkajian lebih mendalam pada penyelesaian tugas khususnya matematika, sehingga yang menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi lebih jauh terkait pemanfaatan kecerdasan tiruan dalam membantu menyelesaikan tugas mahasiswa, dengan jenis penelitian yang dipilih berupa penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penggunaan subjek penelitian berasal dari mahasiswa prodi Sains Aktuaria, Universitas Negeri Makassar semester I tahun 2024/2025 sebanyak 41 orang. Pada pengumpulan datanya digunakan instrumen berupa lembar angket pemanfaatan kecerdasan tiruan. Lembar angket yang disusun berupa angket terbuka yang dijawab oleh mahasiswa. Proses analisis terhadap data penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Sesuai dengan hasil analisis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pemanfaatan kecerdasan tiruan telah banyak dilakukan oleh mahasiswa prodi sains aktuaria khususnya dalam mengerjakan soal matematika. Jenis kecerdasan tiruan yang umumnya digunakan seperti ChatGPT, Cici AI, Gemini AI, Mathlab, Photomath, Question AI, dan Google Lens. Pemanfaatannya memberikan dampak yang baik, namun harus didukung pula dengan pemahaman lebih terkait tugas yang akan diselesaikan.
