ANALISIS PERAN PERGURUAN TINGGI DALAM PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN JASMANI YANG BERKUALITAS DI INDONESIA
Abstrak
Higher education has a positive impact in improving the quality of education in Indonesia, including in the field of physical education. In the realm of physical education, the globalization of higher education opens up opportunities for universities in Indonesia to design a more inclusive and diverse curriculum. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of globalization of higher education in the development of quality physical education in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, exploring the experiences and views of stakeholders in the development of physical education in Indonesia. Through in-depth interviews and document analysis, this research reveals that several universities have implemented special programs to support athletes and students who excel in sports. Although research related to the development of physical education in Indonesia is still limited, themes that have been explored include the influence of sport on health and the effectiveness of physical exercise programs. The results of this research have positive implications by increasing awareness of the importance of developing quality physical education in Indonesia. It is hoped that this will help improve the overall quality of physical education, provide benefits for public health, and open up wider opportunities for students who are talented and interested in sports. In conclusion, this research can be a basis for formulating more effective policies and programs in the development of physical education in Indonesia by the government and universities.
