Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka menekankan pada penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam sebagai bentuk upaya transformasi pendidikan. Dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi, persepsi mahasiswa calon guru terhadap pembelajaran sangat penting karena dapat mempengaruhi implementasinya di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap persepsi mahasiswa calon guru terhadap pembelajaran mendalam pada penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Sebanyak 243 mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi terlibat pada penelitian survei deskriptif ini. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket yang dibagikan melalui google form. Angket mencakup lima aspek yakni, latar belakang dan definisi pembelajaran mendalam, profil lulusan, prinsip pembelajaran, pengalaman belajar, serta implementasi pembelajaran. Data persepsi mahasiswa dikumpulkan dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa calon guru berada pada tingkatan positif hingga sangat positif. Profil lulusan merupakan aspek dengan skor tertinggi. Sementara aspek pengalaman belajar dan aspek kerangka pembelajaran merupakan aspek dengan skor terendah. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa calon guru secara umum telah memiliki pemahaman konseptual yang baik terkait pembelajaran mendalam, namun masih membutuhkan penguatan dan dukungan pada tataran praktis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengambil kebijakan terkait pratek pedagogis di program pendidikan keguruan.
