Etnomatematika Suku Mandailing: Tinjauan Literatur Sistematik Tahun 2018-2024

Abstract

Etnomatematika menjadi pendekatan yang menjembatani pengetahuan matematika formal dengan praktik budaya lokal. Suku Mandailing memiliki potensi kekayaan budaya yang dapat diungkap melalui lensa etnomatematika, namun pemetaan studi ini masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tren penelitian etnomatematika pada Suku Mandailing dari tahun 2018 hingga 2024. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode tinjauan literatur sistematik. Data yang dianalisis berupa 20 artikel bertema etnomatematika Suku Mandailing yang dipublikasikan tahun 2018 sampai 2024. Data diperoleh dari database Google Scholar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi, meninjau, menganalisis, dan menginterpretasikan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fluktuasi dalam jumlah publikasi etnomatematika Suku Mandailing selama periode 2018-2024. Jenis penelitian kualitatif eksploratif mendominasi dibandingkan penelitian pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis etnomatematika. Objek budaya yang banyak dikaji meliputi rumah adat, alat musik, makanan, pakaian, dan permainan tradisional. Konsep matematika yang banyak diterapkan meliputi geometri, aljabar, logika, dan konsep-konsep dasar matematika. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menggambarkan tren penelitian etnomatematika Suku Mandailing dan menjadi referensi bagi penelitian lanjutan serta pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis budaya Suku Mandailing.
