USIA DAN BERAT BADAN LAHIR ANAK MEMPENGARUHI KEJADIAN STUNTING DI DESA RAWAN PANGAN

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang sering terjadi pada anak-anak. Stunting memiliki penyebab yang kompleks. Selain faktor eksternal seperti pola asuh dan faktor lingkungan, faktor internal juga berperan dalam mempengaruhi kejadian stunting. Salah satu diantaranya adalah faktor anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor anak yang berkaitan dengan kejadian stunting. Penelitian dengan desain cross sectional dilakukan pada sembilan desa rawan pangan di Kabupaten Sampang, Lamongan dan Probolinggo. Sebanyak 455 anak balita dengan usia 6-24 bulan menjadi sampel penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usia anak 13-17 bulan (OR = 2,654; 95%CI: 1,033-6,819; p = 0,043), usia anak 18-24 bulan (OR = 3,944; 95%CI: 1,577-9,867; p = 0,003), dan berat badan lahir anak (OR = 5,308; 95%CI: 1,319-21,359; p = 0,019) mempengaruhi kejadian stunting di desa rawan pangan.
