Abstract

The Village Information System (Sistem Informasi Dusun/SID) is an information and communication technology platform designed to support the management of community resources at the hamlet level. In an effort to establish a unified and integrated village data and information system, policies and strategies focus on consolidating various data sources through regional agencies responsible for community empowerment. The government of Dusun Babeko plays a vital role in managing population administration as a form of public service. Proper civil registration serves as a foundation for improving governance and development in the village. Therefore, it is essential to utilize information technology through the development of a web-based information system, supported by platforms provided by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) as part of the Smart Village program. This development aims to ensure the security and organization of population data and other related information in Dusun Babeko. To optimize the implementation of SID, the authors and their team conducted a community service activity in the form of a socialization program entitled "Socialization of the Web-Based Village Information System in Dusun Babeko, Bathin II Babeko Subdistrict."
