Abstract

The Village Information System (SID) is an information system specifically designed to assist the management and management of data at the village level. SID aims to improve the efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of information within the village. The system covers various aspects of village life, including government administration, public services, and population data management. This research aims to analyze the needs of the Village Government and residents of Babeko Hamlet regarding community digital literacy and improved public services through the implementation of the Village Web Information System (SID). In this socialization activity, we took a communicative approach by identifying needs, proposing solutions, and conveying the benefits of using SID. The needs analysis involved surveys and interviews with the Village Government and residents of Babeko Hamlet. The findings showed a need for increased digital literacy among the community and improved accessibility of public information. The problem solution, namely the implementation of SID, is designed to empower the community by improving digital literacy and providing easy access to public services. With SID, it is expected to increase citizen participation in the development process and improve the efficiency of Village Government administration. The method used involves socialization activities, digital literacy workshops, and training on the use of SID. The implementation of SID includes the development of a village website, administrator training, and technical assistance to residents. The outcomes of this activity include improved digital literacy of the community, more active participation in public services through SID, and administrative efficiency of the Village Government. The village website acts as an information hub that can be accessed by all digitally literate citizens and the implementation of SID in Babeko Hamlet is effective in meeting the needs of Village Government partners and citizens. By improving digital literacy, the community can more efficiently access information and participate in village development. The implementation of SID is a positive step in improving the quality of public services and community empowerment.
