Analisis Kelayakan Sarana Dan Prasarana Bengkel Listrik Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kelayakan sarana dan prasarana bengkel listrik di SMK Negeri 3 Makassar berdasarkan standar Permendikbud Nomor 34 Tahun 2018.
Subjek dan Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan dokumentasi menggunakan instrumen penilaian kelayakan yang telah disesuaikan dengan indikator dalam peraturan tersebut. Instrumen mencakup lima aspek utama, yaitu ruang praktik, perabot, peralatan praktik, media pendidikan, serta perlengkapan keselamatan kerja. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung persentase pencapaian tiap indikator kelayakan dan membandingkannya dengan standar minimal yang dipersyaratkan.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar sarana dan prasarana telah tersedia dan mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran praktik, terutama dalam hal peralatan praktik dan media pembelajaran. Namun demikian, terdapat beberapa kekurangan yang signifikan, antara lain kelebihan kapasitas ruang praktik dan tidak tersedianya alat pelindung diri (APD) serta alat keselamatan kerja (K3). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun bengkel listrik tergolong layak, peningkatan pada aspek keselamatan dan penyesuaian terhadap rasio standar sangat diperlukan.
Kesimpulan: Penguatan fasilitas keselamatan dan optimalisasi ruang praktik menjadi prioritas penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan vokasi di SMK.
