Abstrak

Transformasi digital perguruan tinggi menjadi kebutuhan strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas tata kelola akademik dan administrasi di era teknologi informasi. Namun, banyak perguruan tinggi masih menghadapi permasalahan berupa fragmentasi sistem informasi, redundansi data, dan rendahnya sinkronisasi layanan antar unit kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengevaluasi sistem informasi terintegrasi untuk mendukung transformasi digital perguruan tinggi di Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo menggunakan pendekatan Design Science Research (DSR). Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan sistem, perancangan arsitektur berbasis microservices dan Docker, implementasi prototype menggunakan Laravel dan MySQL, uji coba sistem, evaluasi usability, serta dokumentasi dan replikasi sistem. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan dokumentasi terhadap pimpinan universitas, staf teknologi informasi, operator akademik, dosen, dan mahasiswa. Evaluasi sistem dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan System Usability Scale (SUS), observasi penggunaan sistem, dan analisis efektivitas layanan digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prototype sistem informasi terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan sinkronisasi data akademik dan administrasi, mempercepat proses pelayanan kampus, mengurangi redundansi input data, serta meningkatkan kemudahan akses layanan bagi pengguna. Penggunaan arsitektur microservices dan Docker juga memberikan fleksibilitas dalam integrasi dan pengembangan layanan digital kampus. Namun demikian, penelitian masih menemukan kendala berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur jaringan, kapasitas server, dan kebutuhan peningkatan literasi digital pengguna. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi sistem informasi berbasis interoperabilitas data menjadi strategi penting dalam mewujudkan tata kelola perguruan tinggi berbasis digital yang efektif, efisien, dan berkelanjutan.
