Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively map the evolution of the code-mixing phenomenon on digital platforms over the past five years. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design integrated with Bibliometric Analysis using VOSviewer software. The findings reveal that the use of English-Indonesian code-mixing, or "Indoglish," has significantly shifted from merely filling basic lexical gaps to functioning as a strategic tool for symbolic capital. Users deliberately employ this hybrid language to construct digital personas, project social prestige, and navigate local-global identities within a digital "Third Space". The originality of this research lies in its methodological integration of a PRISMA-guided SLR with bibliometric mapping to objectively trace the paradigm shift in sociolinguistic scholarship. Furthermore, this study explicitly contributes a macro-level framework that redefines digital code-mixing not as linguistic degradation, but as a legitimate, adaptive cultural practice in the network society.
